The couple
Love or Imagination added to instinct.
Each time, each race, people, will give love a form, a particular characteristic language. Each couple will think that they are recreating it in their own way.
In the series of works "The Couple", I defined love as imagination added to instinct.
Not confusing it with the marriage that was established, founded also for social, moral, religious purposes, I included love by rendering it as a civilizing element.
Love in general with a double face stands out in this series as a reflection of a paradise untouched by the visible beauties of the material world.
On the contrasting background of a flat calm, I evoked and/or built by painting interactions between a he and a she, a love that did not give up the face of feelings, emotions, experiences.
Instead of the face with which we are used to reveal, to emanate through grimaces the defining features of a life, we used forms that reproduce the expressive involvement of the whole body, completely renouncing the constitutive features of the face, hands and feet.
Following a coding system given by directions and angles with the help of which the body-form is capable of going through infinite forms of expression, we created combinations, variants of easily decipherable appearances with possibilities of appropriate emotions, a dimension in which the divine spark is present in the form of love , love does not require an explicit physical body to manifest, resulting in experiences such as: enthusiasm, longing, tranquility, splendor, certainty, ardor, sincerity, intimacy, regret, relaxation, contemplation, compassion, impasse and others.
Starting from what Saint John the Golden Mouth said - when God made man he planted in every rule of conscience.
In the series of works "The Couple" I show a crystallized love, a love that creates beauty, art and poetry, capable of civilizing beings, human souls.
All of this can transform the way we see the world in general, putting the viewer on the point of experiencing a life without seeing the well-known facial features.

The digital works in this catalog can be printed on various materials, flexible or rigid (photographic paper based on silver, photographic paper intended for digital printing, cotton canvas, polypropylene, forex, dibond-metallic, wood, etc.)
Due to the quality at which the works were created, the prints can be made in very large sizes, between 1.5m and 3m, at resolutions of 1200-2400 DPI (super photo), on the latest generation machines, in 6-12 colors.
To protect the obtained exceptional quality print, it can be laminated glossy or matte. In the catalog, the dimensions of the works and the corresponding frames, recommended by the artist, are indicated/suggested.
According to current legislation, the reproduction of a unique work or the copies made after works that are not unique (e.g. digital art works), are considered original works if they are made by the author and with his consent.
The works/reproductions/copies are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed in the original by the author, a certificate that attests and guarantees the originality, authenticity and copyright of the work of art which is part of the artist's creation. The certificate also specifies, as the case may be, if the work is unique, or in the case of a reproduction/copy, no. of previous reproductions/copies.
